Oak & Secrets: The Immersive Tour

Step into the secret of our craft. A technical and sensory exploration in the heart of the barrel cellar, where Vincent Cuillier and Emeline De Sloovere age their wines to reveal the terroir’s complexity.

Duration : 2h

  • Privileged Access: Confidential entry to our barrel cellar.
  • Technical Insight: Understand the impact of wood on wine (micro-oxygenation).
  • Comparative Tasting: 3 cuvées to grasp the nuances of aging.
  • Winemaker's Soul: The precise vision of Vincent & Emeline on vinification.

On the programme

Go beyond the standard visit. This immersion takes you to where time seems suspended: amidst our oak barrels. This is where part of the Cuillier & De Sloovere signature is forged. You will discover why we chose the demanding path of wood aging and how it sublimes our terroirs. The experience culminates with a technical tasting of 3 champagnes (including vintages or single plots depending on availability), highlighting the patina and elegance of our wines.

Perfect fieldtrip near Reims

Commenté le 01/06/2023

We, group of 16, had a visite to the house of the family Cuillier. We had an explanation about the making off en the characteristics of the champagne by Paulina. It was clear and interesting. Thereafter we could taste some of the champagnes, learned to sable a bottle correctly. We had a good, fun and interesting visit.

Good local experience

Commenté le 12/04/2023

It was an interesting experience, good to see how locals produce champagne Vs big champagne houses. However would have been nice to meet the owner and see the passion come through for a family run business rather than then hiring a tour guide to take us around. Very lovely champagne and tastings.

A day to remember

Learned a lot about champagne from our very kind guide and most importantly, had the chance to taste their unique champagnes! It is a highly recommended activity if you are in the area.
