Informative, entertaining, fascinating
The visit began with an explanation of the soils underlying the various Crus, a complete tour of the cellar, and the production methods. Our guide was excellent at explaining the grape pressing, fermentation, aging, and bottling processes, which were very informative. Then we moved on to the tasting, which was conducted with great professionalism but also in a kind, relaxed, and unpressured manner: too often, a tasting feels like an exam, but that certainly wasn't the case here. We also had the opportunity to taste a few wines not included in the package, and were given the opportunity to adjust the selection based on our tastes. Finally, we also appreciated the friendliness shown to our dachshund. A truly positive experience!
Visit to Domaine Schlumberger
Excellent information regarding the wine production process provided by Annanis via a wonderful tour followed by a tasting. Would absolutely recommend visiting this vineyard and experiencing the amazing wines.
Thank you for a great visit
Five of us visited on 24th September. We loved the tour around the winery which was conducted in English. Annais, the tasting room manger, made it so interesting and the staff working there were helpful and friendly. One of workers even climbed in and out of a small cut out in one of the large oak casks to show how he could do it. Our tasting at the end of the tour was very enjoyable and we discovered several wines that impressed us enough for us to make some purchases which we will look forward to enjoying at home over the next few years.
