In the intimate setting of the L’Artelier dans ma cour art gallery in Hermonville, Anne-Dorothée Christo, designer and artisan, invites curious minds and enthusiasts on a journey through geological heritage, artistic creation, and the Champagne lifestyle.
The workshop begins with a short documentary tracing the history of 45-million-year-old Champagne shells, discovered at La Cave aux Coquillages in Fleury-la-Rivière.
Then it’s time for the hands-on experience: armed with tools, participants excavate and uncover their own fossils.You create a unique piece of jewelry and select three additional shells, each identified with a certificate of authenticity.

The workshop concludes with a tasting of three cuveés, including Champagne Anthocyane, crafted by Stéphane Keyser, Anthony Valette, and Éric Drain, owners of L’Artelier dans ma cour.A refined moment connecting the mineral richness of Champagne soils, revealed by Lutetian Sea shells, to the elegance of Champagne.
The workshop is designed for 1 to 4 guests and lasts approximately 3 hours.
