Looking for a unique and spectacular experience? Learn how to sabre a bottle of Champagne like a true connoisseur! During this immersive session, I will introduce you to the history and technique of sabrage before you take the plunge and try it yourself.
Experience the thrill of Champagne sabrage, a spectacular and historic tradition. You will learn the technique and have the chance to sabre your very own bottle of Champagne
This experience is perfect for a fun gathering with friends, a romantic moment as a couple, or a special celebration such as a birthday, stag or hen party.
How Does It Work?
Your experience begins with a warm welcome and an introduction to the session. You will then dive into the fascinating history of sabrage, a tradition dating back to the Napoleonic era.
After a detailed demonstration, you will have the opportunity to practise on empty bottles before moving on to the real thing. But the experience doesn’t stop there—once your bottle is open, it’s time to savour it! You will learn how to fully appreciate sabred Champagne by exploring its aromas and flavours.
This relaxed and interactive moment is also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about Champagne, its characteristics, and food pairings.
The session takes place in an authentic and intimate setting.
One bottle is provided for every two participants, with the option to sabre an individual bottle for an additional fee.
All safety equipment is provided, and a sabrage certificate can be issued on request.
The activity is available for groups of two or more.
For groups of eight or more, a private two-hour session can be arranged. Feel free to contact us to customise your event or discuss any specific requests.
