On the programme

 

Born from the fusion of know-how and tradition of the Bofferding and Funck-Bricher breweries, the National Brewery (Brasserie Nationale) in Bascharage is today a key place in the Luxembourgish brewing world.

 

Immerse yourself in a journey through more than two centuries of history and discover the largest brewery in the Grand Duchy with a guided tour. You will be able to smell and touch the raw materials, taste the exceptionally pure Lodyss natural mineral water, discover the young beer and finally taste the finished Bofferding, Battin and Funck-Bricher beers during a tasting session.

  • Guide available in 5 languages: Luxembourgish, French, German, English and Mandarin (subtitled)
  • Visit of the National Brewery including the tasting of the "Gezwéckelten", a "Béierschnaps" and the Lodyss water at its spring (duration of 1 to 1,15 hours)
  • Tasting session including an introduction to beer tasting as well as the tasting of 3 different beers of the National Brewery (duration 1 hour)

  • Dates/Opening hours: Monday - Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm with reservation (min. 5 people and max. 25 people). 
  • Over 25 participants, please send an email to visite@bofferding.lu
  • Individual Ticket (Every Saturday at 15:00). Tickets without reservation (min. 1 and max 4 adults). 
  • Parking BrauHotel: in front of the brewery is open 24/24hrs and contains 49 places. Price: 1€ per hour

Alles war Kinderleicht, die Buchung, die Abwicklung. Dann der sehr sympathischer Empfang vor Ort, die professionelle Führung. Sehr unterhaltsam und informativ. Wir würden diese Führung jederzeit wieder besuchen.

Guide très pointu et très agréable Visite passionnante C'était notre 2ème visite . Nous sommes revenus avec des amis pour leur faire connaître le lieu. Nouvelle boutique de la brasserie que nous n'avions pas vue très appréciée
