GO BACK IN TIME: The museum of woodworking and heritage is a must-see site in Alsace. Trades, tools, machines, men and PASSION. 2 hours of visit with a voluntary and passionate guide, who starts the machines to give you demonstrations.

  • To discover the beginnings of the mechanisation in the workshops, the guides, throughout the visit, will put in operation machines of the period
  • The authentic museum called museum of woodworking and heritage is a little jewel that you would be foolish not to visit.

On the programme

Our museum is a lively place, animated by passionate volunteer guides who will give you demonstrations on machines, some of which are centuries old and still in working order.

 

Visits in English or German are also possible for groups, by reservation only.

Ce musée est incroyable, très complet avec beaucoup de machines qui fonctionnent. Notre guide Rémi nous a su nous transmettre sa passion au cours d’une visite très riche en explications et démonstrations. Je recommande vivement la visite, pour tous les passionnés du travail du bois mais pas seulement!!! Tout le monde y trouvera son compte, petits et grands car il y a aussi les jouets, les maquettes, les outils ou objets anciens en bois… etc À decouvrir absolument En plus il y a un excellent restaurant tout à côté!
