The Rham Plateau proudly overlooks three sides of the Alzette valley and offers a stunning view of the old city of Luxembourg. It has been an integral part of Luxembourg’s fortifications since the 15th century and was later expanded by Vauban with four imposing military barracks, currently used as modern and comfortable housing for seniors. You can make a stop for a few minutes while waiting for the next train.

Good option to explore.

I went two times on it already. Both time all of the participants liked it. It is very valuable option for those who are not able to walk steep roads and it is also good on providing historical overview as it goes by.

Une ballade agréable et instructive

Nous avons fait la ballade avec le petit train, pour lier l'utile (pas de marche à pied pour ma mère qui se fatigue rapidement et découverte des lieu de la ville où on ne va pas forcement et qui demandent un temps considérable, que nous n'avions pas) à l'agréable: une ballade tranquille, avec un interessant commentaire sur les lieux visités. Ma mère a été ravie de l'expérience.
