The Rham Plateau proudly overlooks three sides of the Alzette valley and offers a stunning view of the old city of Luxembourg. It has been an integral part of Luxembourg’s fortifications since the 15th century and was later expanded by Vauban with four imposing military barracks, currently used as modern and comfortable housing for seniors. You can make a stop for a few minutes while waiting for the next train.

Lehrreich und kurzweilig

Schöne Erfahrung, sehr nett unterhaltsam und kurzweilig gestaltet. Auch für Kinder gut verständlich. Eine sehr schöne Strecke. Die Bahn fährt immer langsam sodass gut rausgeschaut werden kann, auch für schnelle Fotos findet man Zeit.

Did not get a better place to seat in the train even with a valid ticket and advance booking. Shame that such a rich country is also doing this things with the tourists. Walk around the old city rather than taking this train. The driver did not even bother to give me headphones or to check them. Cheap service!
