The waterfall, known as Schiessentümpel, with its three water jets on the Black Ernz is one of the most photographed motives of the Mullerthal Region, Luxembourg's Little Switzerland. This is a 45-minute walking tour. Please make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes, especially at the Schiessentümpel waterfall.
One stop at Beaufort to take some photos and admire the view. During Spring and Summer season, the Beaufort Castle is open to the public.
12:00 - 14:00: Vianden Castle - An outstanding monument
The small medieval town of Vianden attracts thousands of visitors every year. Particularly worth seeing are the imposing castle that overlooks the town, the town wall with its fortified towers and Luxembourg's only chairlift. During our stop you have 2 hours of free time that you can plan for yourself. We recommend that you bring a lunch or snack if you don't want to waste time in a restaurant, otherwise the time might be too short.
15:15 - 16:00: The old town of Echternach
Echternach is the oldest town in Luxembourg and was founded in 698 by the Benedictine monk Willibrord. Visit the most beautiful places and buildings of Echternach, like the Basilica, the abbey and the market. After Echternach, we will return to the departure point in Luxembourg City.

A very well-organized tour!
Our driver was safe and always punctual. We knew exactly when to meet him at the various stops. Good value for money as it was an 8-hour tour for €99. Would recommend to my friends!
Excursion très sympa pour découvrir la petite suisse luxembourgeoise
Nous avons découvert la fameuse cascade du Müllerthal au bout d'une promenade d'un quart dans la forêt, puis le chateau médiéval de Beaufort. Ensuite, direction Vianden pour visiter l'imposant chateau et faire une pause déjeuner dans la petite caféteria. Le chauffeur nous a par après conduit à Echternach pour voir la ville et la Basilique. Je recommande vraiment ce tour qui nous fait voir "en vrai" tout ce qu'on voit dans les brochures touristiques. On en a plein les yeux en quelques heures ! Excellent rapport qualité/prix.
Nice intro to Luxembourg History
Overall positive. Started and ended on time. Nice mixture of attentions outside the city. The last stop in Echternach was too focused on the church. Better to walk around the village with guided commentary to appreciate the historical significance of the location as the oldest commune in Luxembourg. Lastly, the driver offered water along the way without mentioning at the end of the tour he would charge €2.50 per bottle. Quite sneaky given tix terms indicated water would not be provided.
