Museums mile - make your own way to the museums

Along the way, you will discover remarkable places and tourist attractions. The route includes 7 stops corresponding to the 7 museums of Luxembourg City. Since your ticket is valid for 48 hours, you can schedule the museum visits over the two days as you wish. Before booking your ticket, beware of the opening days and time of each museum.  

The walk will take you to the most important museums of the city, including:

1) Casino Luxembourg - Contemporary Art Forum (closed on Tuesday)

2) Lëtzebuerg City Museum (closed on Monday)

This museum located on the ancient Fish market, which square also contains the same name, is a museum that tells the story of the city's development form its origins as a Roman settlement to its current status as a modern European capital.

3) National History Museum (closed on Monday)

4) MUDAM Luxembourg (closed on Tuesday)

The MUDAM is a contemporary art museums located in the modern and financial district of Kirchberg, in  futuristic building desine dby Ieoah Ming Pei. This museums exhibits contemporary pieces of art

5) Museum Dräi Eechelen (closed on Monday)

The Dräi Eechelen is located in a restored fortress overlooking the city. This museum focuses on Luxembourg's military history and presents exhibitions on topics such as the fortress's construction, the ole of the military and facts about war on the country.

6) National Museum of History and Art (closed on Monday)

This museums provides an immersive experience by showcasing the city's history through multimedia presentations, photographs and interactive displays. All temporary exhibitions are not included in this ticket.

7) Villa Vauban (closed on Tuesday / 1st November / 25th December / 1st January)

This museums is focused on European Art, from the 17th to 21st century, with an emphasis on Luxembourgish artists.
