Our Siena food tour will take you on a journey through the heart of the city to discover its history, food culture, and unique culinary traditions. As you stroll through Siena’s charming medieval streets and lively neighborhoods, you’ll experience the authentic flavors that make Tuscan cuisine world-famous.Throughout the tour, you’ll visit carefully selected local spots and enjoy several tastings that represent the city’s true food heritage. Each stop will reveal a new story, a new flavor, and a new side of Siena’s rich gastronomic identity.

Siena’s and Tuscany’s gastronomic traditions are also widely celebrated. Yet, with so many delicious options, it can sometimes be difficult to decide what to try. That’s why we created a Siena food tour that offers an overview of the city’s most authentic specialties, from carefully selected cured meats and local cheeses to traditional hand-rolled pastas and other time-honored Tuscan dishes.

POSSIBLE TASTINGS:

Charcuterie and cheese board - Taste the best charcuterie and cheeses from the area accompanied by a good glass of local wine
Pici cacio e pepe or wine - Pici senesi are made in a way that respects ancient processes, such as bronze wire-drawing. You can taste them seasoned with cacio e pepe or with wine
Pappa senese - of peasant origin, the recipe has been handed down from generation to generation. With a small detail that differentiates it from the traditional Tuscan pappa al pomodoro
Ribollita - the typical soup made of bread and vegetables, delicious!
Tonno del chianti - an ancient Tuscan recipe made with pork, purged for days in coarse salt and then cooked 5 hours in white wine and herbs
Ricciarelli - Marzipan biscuits in the shape of a grain of rice with a crunchy, wrinkled and cracked surface coated in sugar and a grainy interior that is soft to the bite... delicious!

Included in the offer	All the food is included. Water and drinks in moderate amount (1 alcoholic drink) will be served. You can add more wine and/or beer by purchasing the Special Drink Card.
