A close-up view of a fabulous French retail institution and its amazing dome
This was very interesting and our guide was excellent. Angela spoke in a clear voice and was easy to hear and understand for someone with hearing issues. It was great to be in the shop without customers and be able to see the dome without jostling for position with the general public. It felt privileged to see areas of the building that the general public could not enter such as the top of the dome structure. The information provided about the company was very informative. We purchased tickets online in advance of our recent trip to Paris without any issue. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Galeries LaFayette and the architecture of the building.
A fun experience
I was looking forward to taking this tour and it didn't disappoint. It was fun to be in the store before they opened and to see so much of it without interruption. Our guide, Angela, was very good and personable. My husband wasn't sure what he was getting in to, but he also enjoyed it very much. It's something most people don't' know about, which makes it all the more special!
Great experience
Small group, detailed and informed commentary from Angela. Learnt a lot about Galeries Lafayette in friendly group. Good to see the Archives and the glass walkway! Good communication from booking to day of tour.
